Facilities Assistant 05/2011 – 12/2014, UCLA Extension, Westwood, CAUnder the direction of the on-site Center Coordinator, performed duties for various UCLA Extension Metro Centers, dependent on department needs. The centers each consist of classrooms, computer labs, offices, event and storage spaces. We served the classroom, registration, student and instructor needs of multiple Extension programs and of outside entities and vendors. These include event preparation, floor plan set up for meetings, department events and conferences. Daily operations also involved updating class schedules using Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Access, email interaction using Outlook, stocking classrooms, correcting and adjusting classroom temperatures, opening and closing facilities using alarm systems, personal access codes and proximity cards.  Vendor interactions to maintain Facilities related needs were daily to weekly occurrences, depending on the projects underway. Reports and Population Counts were submitted at the end of every shift.

Dispatch Assistant/Vendor Confirmations 6/2002 - 8/2006 Support to the chef, warehouse teams, and event staff. I assessed situations by staffing events, contracting temp agencies, training new hires, providing eventdirections by Thomas Guide and Internet search methods. Prepared Vendor Arrival Schedules and Event Manager Agendas. I was temporarily responsible for retrievingaccounts payable queries and verifying costs with vendors for payment and reconciliation.
